🍂 Golden Eagles: Our Cozy Little Wonderland in Second Life!
🍂 Summer is almost over, but the warmth in our own "Wonderland" is here to stay!
Summer is slowly saying goodbye, the rhythm of everyday life is shifting, and my thoughts naturally drift to my favorite corners in Second Life. As I was sitting the other day, looking around at my little house and my shop, it hit me: how truly grateful I am for the place I chose to anchor my virtual life.
And of course, a place never really becomes "home" by accident. It becomes home because of the people in it.
So, I want to dedicate this post to two truly special people. ZenLady (Zen), the soul and estate owner of the SIM, is such a warm, welcoming person with a huge heart and a great sense of humor. And right beside her is FailByDurex (Sam), our Manager—the guy who runs the SIM and is always there to help you out, make whatever crazy idea you have come to life, and do it all with a massive dose of humor!
When I opened my little shop, with the idea of getting back into making clothes, Zen and Sam were right there by my side from day one. From the very beginning, they made me feel like I’d known them for years—like true friends. We end up spending hours late at night just hanging out, talking, and laughing our heads off. After 19 years in Second Life, I can honestly say from the bottom of my heart that they are the warmest, most helpful, and most wonderful people I have ever met.
An 8-year labor of love and a world tailored just for you!
This amazing SIM, called Golden Eagles, has been lovingly created and run by Zen with so much passion and dedication for 8 whole years, and I get to live it and share it through my blog with so much love, good vibes, and enthusiasm!

If you haven’t visited Golden Eagles yet, you are seriously missing out! Zen has created a truly versatile and welcoming real estate world, built on a peaceful atmosphere, great privacy, and deep mutual respect, ready to embrace whatever your heart desires. Here, you can easily rent a shop or a house to suit your style, and the options are wide open:
Want something cozy and unique? You can rent everything from a cute little trailer in the sweetest trailer park you've ever seen, all the way to a stunning, luxurious villa.
Looking for a business space to showcase your creations? There are spaces available from small to larger shops—just like the one I set up for my clothes!
Or maybe you prefer a "blank canvas" where you can build your own personal sanctuary? There is available land ready for you to place whatever dream home you want.
The coolest thing about this SIM is that Zen and Sam treat it like a living organism: it constantly changes with the seasons and holidays. Right now, for instance, we’re stepping into the spooky Halloween vibe, and the whole environment and atmosphere shift to match whatever celebration is coming next.
And the best part of all? Despite all the changes and setups, the experience is completely smooth with zero lag, which is rare and precious.

There is never a dull moment here, and nothing is ever just thrown together at random. Everything is set up with so much care and detail:
You can grab a bike from the square down by the marina and, thanks to the roads running all across the SIM, take an amazing ride from one end to the other!
There is a dedicated fishing area, a lovely little beach, plus what is quite possibly the most realistic public swimming pool in Second Life, open for everyone to enjoy!
A fantastic club for your evening music outings and dancing, which you can even use freely to celebrate your birthday, throw a party, or organize whatever you like with your friends!
Right above it, tucked away in a beautiful, separate space, is a spot featuring all the SL games for endless gaming.
Down in the building's basement, you’ll find an exclusive area dedicated entirely to bowling.
A gorgeous, peaceful church (which holds services with a pastor on Sundays at 12 PM SLT, and where you can also light virtual candles and leave a message that stays active for 24 hours) as well as a separate, dedicated prayer space for quiet moments of reflection, where prayer meetings are held on Wednesdays at 12 PM SLT.
A fun, vibrant Halloween setup featuring spooky graves, trees, and ghosts that they just put up to get us in the mood!
Just having some fun digging around in the new spooky area! And of course, the hidden caves waiting to be explored by adventurers.
Zen and Sam have managed to create a space that blends neighborhood peace with endless entertainment, nature, and spirituality.
